VOCs governance is in full swing

Among them, the Standards for the Emission of atmospheric pollutants from the printing industry will be released soon, stipulating the requirements for the emission control, monitoring, supervision and management of atmospheric pollutants from the printing industry, so as to effectively prevent and control environmental pollution, improve environmental quality, and promote the technological progress and sustainable development of the printing industry. The other two standards are applicable to all kinds of inks in the factory state, as well as the requirements for unorganized emission control of VOCs material storage, VOCs material transfer and transportation, and VOCs unorganized emission control of process.

The "1 Permit System" is the "Technical Specification for Application and Issuance of Pollutant Discharge Permits for Printing Industry", which guides and standardizes the application and issuance of pollutant discharge permits for printing industry entities, and improves the technical support system of pollutant discharge permits.

Difficult plastic soft package is the key point of management.

In recent years, gravure printing mainly focuses on the end treatment because the source replacement technology is not fully mature. There are also several prominent problems in the implementation of specific governance work of enterprises, mainly reflected in the fact that small and medium-sized enterprises are still not clear about their own emission base, are not sure about the economic efficiency and applicability of technology selection, and have not yet achieved the seamless connection between technology and service on the docking between the supply side and the demand side of governance technology. As the current VOCs governance technology is diverse, the market is chaotic, equipment prices vary widely, and the governance effect of the enterprises that have implemented governance is uneven, which makes it difficult for the enterprises that are still on the sidelines to make accurate judgment and decision when choosing governance technology. Control the whole process by treating both symptoms and root causes

At present, the VOCs pollution control and treatment ideas in the printing industry are still focused on source reduction, process control and end treatment. Among them, source reduction requires material substitution and root removal, process control requires airtight collection and air reduction concentration, and end treatment requires standard emission and economical application. From the point of view of source reduction technology, in offset printing industry, the replacement of raw and auxiliary materials with VOCs content less than 10% should be realized, that is, green raw and auxiliary materials such as ink, adhesive, fountain solution and car wash water should be fully applied as soon as possible. At present, there are mature substitutes for inks, adhesives and moistening solutions, which have been comprehensively promoted and replaced in large book and magazine printing enterprises in Beijing. Car wash water, one of the difficulties, has also found a viable alternative and is being piloted. After a comprehensive replacement, offset printing industry can achieve no collection, no processing, so as to improve the current chaos, excessive governance. In the field of flexible packaging industry, it is necessary to vigorously promote the gravure water-based ink research and development and application. The replacement of solvent ink by ink is a gradual process. In recent years, ink technology has developed rapidly, and some excellent enterprises take the lead in making breakthroughs in trial and industrial application. These enterprises are bound to gain initiative and advantageous position in the future market competition. From the perspective of process control technology, the process, equipment and management system in the production process are reformed and controlled to reduce the final VOCs emissions of the enterprise. The main control technologies include sealing raw material supply system, establishing VOCs waste gas collection system and improving the capture rate of VOCs waste gas. At present, the terminal treatment technology is mainly in two directions: one is recovery treatment, the other is combustion treatment. At present, because of the diversity of exhaust components, so the mainstream is still combustion technology. The recovery technology is mainly used in the dry compound process, and some enterprises have tried the ethanol recovery technology of ink and made some progress. Of course, the printing process, production scale, product structure, production conditions are not the same, so we have to adapt to local conditions, one factory, one policy.
