PCB is shortened form for Printed Circuit Board. Usually, a conductive pattern designed by predetermine, maked by printed circuit, printed component or a combination of the two on the insulation substrate is called printed circuit.
The conductive pattern providing electrical connection between components on the insulating substrate is called printed wiring. Thus the printed circuit or the finished board of the printed circuit is called a printed circuit board, also known as a printed board or a printed circuit board. Almost all electronic devices we can see are inseparable from PCB, ranging from electronic watches, calculators and handheld computers to computers, electronic communication devices and military weapon systems. As long as there are integrated circuits and other electronic components, PCB is used in the electrical interconnection between them.
It provides mechanical support for the fixed assembly of various electronic components such as integrated circuits, realizes the wiring and electrical connection or electrical insulation between various electronic components such as integrated circuits, and provides required electrical characteristics such as characteristic impedance. PCB also provides soldering stop graphics for automatic soldering and identification characters and graphics for component cartridge inspection and maintenance . So, how are PCBS made? When we turn on the computer keyboard, we see a flexible film (flexible insulating substrate) printed with silver-white (silver paste) conductive patterns and key patterns.
This printed circuit board is called a flexible silver paste printed circuit board. On the other hand, the printed circuit boards on the various computer motherboards, video CARDS, network CARDS, modems, sound CARDS and household appliances seen in computer City are different. The substrates used are paper base (often used for one side) or glass cloth base (often used for two or more layers), preimpregnated with phenolic resin or epoxy resin, followed by one or two copper-clad lamination and curing. This kind of printed circuit board covers copper book plate, we call it rigid board, if made printed circuit board, we call it rigid printed circuit board.
